This was my first ever UI/UX design project at university, based on a D&AD brief to help encourage younger people to travel more. I created a concept for a sister app to Airbnb, called Airbnb CONNECT. The app focused on affordable, social, and experience-led travel, with features like forming group trips, a loyalty point scheme and local activity suggestions tailored to young travellers. It was all about making travel feel accessible, exciting, and community-driven. This project kickstarted my interest in app design and user journeys, and laid the foundations for everything I’ve built since.
